Your tasks
- Communicating courteously and professionally with customers upon delivery, answering questions, and providing assistance when needed
- Use GPS or maps to determine the most efficient delivery routes to minimize travel time and fuel costs. Adjust routes based on traffic conditions or other unforeseen circumstances.
- Transporting items to various locations, which may include residences, businesses, or distribution centers, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.
- Responsible for loading items onto the delivery vehicle and ensuring that they are secured for transport. Upon arrival at the destination, they unload the packages safely.
What you bring
- Valid driver’s license.
- Reading maps or using navigation apps for route planning.
- Understanding road signs and signals.
- Knowing how to share the road with vehicles and pedestrians
- Knowing popular cycling paths and safe roads.
